Royal Plaza

Shares available in exciting winning hurdler

Teign Racing are thrilled to offer shares in this exciting and scopey hurdler who recently won his recent start over hurdles at Stratford by a very impressive 12 lengths. He was placed 2nd by a neck in his most recent start at Fontwell.
This well-bred son of King's Theatre has run six times this year, gaining two wins and three places.

He has been ridden on his four recent appearances by the current champion jockey Richard Johnson. He is a natural jumper who has made life very easy for the champion jockey, jumping exceptionally and quickening clear with ease.

He now has an official rating of 125 over both hurdles and fences which will allow him to run in higher graded races.

His pedigree is one to be excited about. His sire King's Theatre has proven himself to be a top-class NH stallion and sired many well-known names such as the popular Cue Card (Champion Bumper, Ascot Chase, Ryanair Chase, Betfair Chase) and The New One (International Hurdle, Aintree Hurdle).

On his dams' side Royal Plaza is a full-brother to the very talented Royal Regatta who was trained by Phillip Hobbs.

Royal Regatta competed at the highest level winning seven races including the Grade 2 Stella Artois chase at Ascot and racking up well over 150,000 pounds in prize money.

Royal Plaza is displaying many similarities to his full-brother and, with the Jumps season coming upon us very quickly, is a very exciting horse to get involved with.

He has been sent into training with Katie Stephens in Devon whose yard boasts exceptional facilities.

Note: Teign Racing is a member of the RSA - Racehorse Syndicates Association.
